Hey Colley, Love your work ! I hope to be able to attend one of your workshops in the very near future. In the meantime, I ordered 5 of your DVD's from International Artist. The other 7 are 'sold out'. Any chance you (or they) will have more soon. I would really love to get the other 7. Talk soon -J

Hi Colley! I had the most amazing learning workshop experience the last 3 days that I will never forget. This workshop and your teaching techniques had such impact and has changed my painting in the most absolute direction I have always wanted to go. Thank you and God for putting that connection in my path. I will truly always be grateful. You have no idea how wide open my eyes are now and the teaching techniques you have given me. They will be ingrained in my head for ever. Can't wait for your return to the U.S. and the next workshop. I promise I will keep practicing and remember your advice daily. God Bless.....safe travels! Maureen (the former Oregonian)

It was truly a pleasure to teach such a hardworking class which showed so much potential. I look forward to returning to the United States hopefully by mid 2013. Please keep an eye on my website for updates. I'm positive if you put the work in the results are going to come your way. Happy Painting!

Hi Colley, Love your website ... For those of us in the States, can you create an instructional DVD that shows you completing a painting from "start" to "finish"? Also, looks like your book is sold out ...when will you have additional copies available for sale ? Love your work !

Hello Colley, I will be attending your McGregor School class in July. Your list of materials contains four canvasses coated with off-white. Does that mean to add a bit of another colour to brilliant white? The canvasses are not particularly smooth. Should I lightly sand them and apply another coat or two of gesso? Looking forward to the week.

Hi John, Thank you for your enquiry. I would suggest that you sand your boards to make them smoother and give them a coat of gesso (If you have Montmarte Boards, give them a vigorous sanding). I also recommend that you apply the off-white tint over the gesso as mentioned on the art materials list. I look forward to meeting you in July. Happy Painting!

Hi Colley, I want to say thanks for your book as it has/is helping me with my painting. In fact, today I gave a demonstration to a local art group which I was a bit nervous about, however I don't think I'd have had the confidence if I hadn't read your book (which the group was most interested in!) and the demo went pretty well - good to get out of the comfort zone!

What brushes do you like? Are you using some watercolor brushes?

I use Art Spectrum Hog Hair Brushes, Langnickel Royal Sable Brushes & a range of Synthetic Brushes that have a nice sharp point. I normally buy brushes for oil & acrylics not watercolor.
